On Thursday, November 1st, Honorary Consul Dorel Nasui welcomed Moldovan artists Pavel Stratan & Cleopatra Stratan to the Honorary Consulate in Illinois. The two performed a wonderful concert in Chicago and the Honorary Consulate looks forward to supporting more cultural events in the future.
Pavel Stratan is a Moldovan popular singer. His first album, Amintiri din copilărie, was released in 2002.
Cleopatra Stratan is a Moldovan singer, the youngest person ever to score commercial success, with her 2006 album La vârsta de trei ani (“At the age of 3”). She holds the record for the highest paid young artist, the youngest artist to receive an MTV award and the youngest artist to score a No.1 hit in a country (“Ghiță” in Romanian Singles Chart).
